Just like on Miss Moneypenny, the pencil skirt evokes stereotypical images of sexy secretaries or stewardesses. Certainly there is much more to this timeless classic than the cliché as an outfit of a plain office-assistant.

Through the high cut of a pencil skirt, the waist displaces slightly upward, so optically the legs appear more extended with high heels.

The skirts combine with blouses in different style varieties, tops and cropped shirts. For winter a short sweater is more suitable.

Today I want to show you a more elegant variation on how to wear a pencil skirt. Of course, there are many possibilities to combine it with. I want to show you these combinations in a next blog post.

Do you wear pencil skirts? How do you combine them?
