Ruffles and Velvet – both remind me quite strongly of my younger years. Ruffles on the 5 year-old princess me and velvet on my grandparents couch cover. Today I have combined these two trends together.

Ruffles and velvet encapsulate something royal, elegant. Nevertheless, these trends can be really worn in a very cool way that’s suitable for everyday life. The blouse I combine easily with high-waist dark jeans. Throw in the velvet shoes et voilà – a royal look that’s suitable for everyday life.
