3 ethical brands for valentines day dresses

Valentine’s Day will be here very soon. Some of you celebrate it and some of you don’t. No matter which one you belong to – as long as you love beautiful dresses, then you are in the right place.

I personally don’t celebrate that day, but I love wearing nice clothes. I also believe that every day should be celebrated. Right? Therefore it doesn’t matter how you spend this day, the main thing is that you feel good. For this reason, I have put together a wonderful selection of fairly produced and sustainable dresses from three very cool brands.

The vintage-inspired label Christy Dawn comes from California. The fabrics they use are leftovers from fashion labels that no longer need their remaining fabrics. They also use many eco-friendly materials and recyclable fabrics. They have no leather, angora or wool in their collections. The products are manufactured in-house by the owner and a small team.

The brand Whimsy + Row was founded in Los Angeles in 2014. The collections are produced in limited editions. They use a high proportion of environmentally friendly materials, including recycled materials. Textiles and materials are exclusive from local production. The packaging is also made from recycled materials.

The bohemian label Spell and the Gipsy by the two sisters from Byron Bay is inspired by distant places and vintage treasures. Part of them use environmentally friendly materials and GOTS certified organic cotton. The tanneries are also checked by a leatherworking group. Some remnants are reused to keep the textile waste as small as possible.
