The fashion circus is back and New York Fashion Week is already over. Now follows London, Paris, and Milan. In this post, I want to show you, all the highlights and trends from this NYFW for the upcoming fall/winter season 2019/2020.
While following Fashion Week and already working on the New York Review, I asked myself one important question: “Can we come to a conclusion on the 2019/2020 trends after the Fashion Week in the Big Apple?”
My answer: YES! Because many well-known but also smaller designers show their works, which have great influence on the fashion scene and on trends. And also it is just wonderful to observe already after one week all the upcoming trends and changes in the fashion world.
All the highlights you can find right here:
1. Purple
A color that was spotted on catwalks and in the streets already last year. The color violet from head to toe is strongly represented again this year.
2. Suit
That every woman today need a suit in the standard equipment of her wardrobe is absolutely clear. For the upcoming season, there are different ways and materials to wear a suit: in bright colors, checkered pattern, velvet or silk.
3. Bright colors
Lemon yellow, orange, neon green or pink light up next fall/winter. But the colors are not coming by her own, they usually mixed with at least three different colors.
4. Sequins & Glitter
Sequins and glitter give a touch of glamor this fall/winter. It doesn’t matter if it’s on the pants, the jacket, the sweater or the complete outfit.
5. Feather
In addition to all the glitter, feathers also dominate the catwalk of New York Fashion Week. The designers bring with them a beautiful touch of romance on the catwalk and also on the streets.
6. All in white
As a contrast to the bright colors and the many glittering looks, white is a very popular color for next season. Whether short dresses, long outfits or layering look – the main thing is white.
7. Puffer
For the cold days, the puffer jacket is back. And this time she may be a bit more powerful.
