Sustainable winter fashion

The days and nights are getting colder. That’s why it’s time to make space for the thicker clothes in the wardrobe – this time for sustainable fashion.

For me personally, it is not always easy to separate myself from my fall clothes. Because I love this beautiful period of time when I can wear my Trench Coat or some light. On the other hand, it is also nice to change the wardrobe for the new season. And with these three brands that I wear today, it makes so much more fun to prepare myself for winter. Because they not only look good but are also sustainable.

All three of these wonderful brands are from the clothing store glore in Lucerne. Glore means “globally responsible”. As the name already says, they take responsibility for our planet. Because they care about fair and ecological fashion. For this reason, they only offer brands that fulfill ecological and ethical standards.

SANIKAI

The beautiful blue suit is from the fashion label Sanikai. A brand that was founded in 2015 in Zurich, Switzerland by Sanaz and Kai Wasser. Their prêt-à-porter collections are produced sustainably. Part of the production is in a sewing plant in Thun and at some young, talented seamstresses in Zurich. In addition, Sanikai presented the collection for summer 2020 at the Helsinki Fashion Week, the most sustainable fashion week in the world.

JAN ‘N JUNE

To this suit, I’m wearing a yellow jersey from JAN ‘N JUNE. A label founded in 2013 by two young girls from Hamburg. This brand stands for minimalist eco-fashion. The girls from JAN ‘N JUNE believe that affordable fashion does not compromise between profit and people or our environment. And they prove that with their ethically and sustainably produced collections.

EKIN

A shoe label from Frankfurt that takes responsibility for what they are doing. Their products are made of pure ecological materials and your experienced staff is employed on fair terms. They produce in small quantities because this gives them the opportunity to guarantee top quality to every customer while leaving a minimal ecological footprint.
