In this special, sometimes turbulent time, I need my daily morning practice more than ever. What I do and which brands fit my morning ritual, I tell you in my post today.
My morning practice includes my daily mediation and regular yoga. They give me peace, serenity and a lot of energy for the day. Appropriate to the topic of movement, it is important for me to introduce 6 ethical yoga brands.
nice to meet me
nice to meet me is a small family business from Austria that combines sustainability with design. The manufacturing process from creation to production takes place in Europe. The dresses are all made from organic farming or from recycled materials. Not only that but also on what they do their office work, such as invoices, tags, catalogs, etc. are on recycled paper.
Hati Hati
Hati is Indonesian and means heart. Hati Hati means something like “pay attention to your heart”. For the Hamburg-based label are the people and the environment very important. That’s why they use organic cotton as well as the biodegradable synthetic fiber Modal. Their production takes place in small family businesses in Bali.
RRREVOLVE
The Swiss company RREVOLVE started in 2010 as a one-man operation. Today, alongside a small, dedicated team, they are the owners of the two stores RRREVOLVE Eco Concept Store and RRREVOLVE Fair Fashion in Zurich. The three R stand for Reduce, Reuse and Recycle – this also applies to yoga clothing. They only support labels that help to avoid waste, reduce pollution, save energy and also pay fair salaries.
Mandala
Iranian-born Nathalie Prieger was the first to bring eco-fair yoga fashion to Germany over 15 years ago. The experienced designer focus with the Brand Mandala on people and nature. For this reason, they use only natural or recycled materials. It is also essential for them to pay every employee in the supply chain with a fair salary and to provide social security.
Moonchild Yoga Wear
Due to her love of fashion and yoga, the young Danish girl Louise Wang Nielsen founded her own collection Moonchild Yoga Wear. Her clothes are made from fabrics such as organic cotton, bamboo, cork, and fibers like Cupro and Modal. Their production takes place exclusively in Europe.
Flying Love Birds
90% of their collection of Flying Love Birds is made in the home studio in southern Germany. They only use materials from certified organic cultivation such as organic cotton, Tencel, modal, bamboo viscose or recycled materials.
