They have to be practical and of course good looking, the winter boots. A combination that is not easy to find. But I’ve found it.
My shoe closet is either made of shoes that look good, and that’s the majority, and just a few that are just practical and suitable for the weather outside. I’ve always struggled to buy winter shoes because the never convinced me with the look. They may be practical and keep warm, but still I do not want to wear two bad looking things on my feet. That’s why I usually tried to get through my wintertime with my ankle boots. But either my feet were frozen after a walk, or I had to move in mini-steps because any hurried or too big movement would mean a fall.
That’s why it was like angel singing when I discovered Sorel’s winter boots. Finally, shoes that meet all my requirements. Good profile, warm feet and good looking. That’s why I tested them through the snow during today’s walk in Engelberg and I’m thrilled. The winter and the snow can come, I’m ready 🙂
