They convinced me with their unique and impressive philosophy and their fresh cosmetics. Ringana is 100% natural and fresh. In terms of sustainability, they are leaders and have already been awarded the Austrian Climate Protection Prize.
VISION: They want to improve the world and produce natural cosmetics without animal products and without preservatives. It is clear for them, that humans come from nature, so we need resources from nature. However, this should not happen at the expense of nature but should be done in harmony with each other.
INGREDIENTS: All ingredients from Ringana products are 100% natural and have no preservatives. This means that they have neither microplastics nor hormonal substances, parabens or much more. The products are continuously manufactured anew and thus guarantee 100% freshness. In addition, they have very short transport routes within the company, which enables them to manufacture quickly. No product is older than 14 days when it leaves the production. If a product is made without preservatives, it does not mean that it is no longer durable at home. Ringana products have a minimum date of expiry of 6 months. Which I think is more than enough.
PACKAGING: Ringana’s packaging material consists of GM-free corn starch and water and is biodegradable. Corn is grown in Germany and is not for feed, but is only produced for industrial use. Electricity and heat for cultivation come from a biogas plant. The residues from this plant are in turn used as fertilizer for the cultivation of maize. The packaging flakes can be easily disposed of in the compost and dissolve 100% in water.
LOCATION & PRODUCTION: Not only the products and the packaging are manufactured sustainably and ecologically, as well for the building of the company and the production facility is sustainability super important. The company is powered by solar power that is 100% CO2 neutral. They also use rainwater tanks that can hold up to 12,000 liters of water. This saves 1,000,000 liters of fresh water every year. They are committed to fairness when purchasing raw materials and energy-efficient production. Due to their sustainable behavior, the entire company has as much waste per year as an average of a family in Germany with 4 people.
