Review Copenhagen Fashion Week

The Scandinavians were always pioneers in many things, now they also set a new standard when it comes to Fashion Week. A three-year plan calls for high standards for the labels as well as the event itself.

Topics such as the ban on one-way plastic bottles and offsetting operational carbon emissions are included in the planning. The goal is a zero-waste Fashion Week. In addition, the CPHFW obliges all designers and labels to adhere to the specified 17 minimum standards. This means that all collections are made from at least 50% certified organic, upcycle, or recycled textiles. In addition, only sustainable packaging and waste-free backdrops may be used for the shows.

All the designs that have been shown this year can be found here in the review of Copenhagen Fashion Week.
