Fair Dress – ThokkThokk

Just because it’s winter does not mean we can not wear dresses anymore. On the contrary, I love the variety – instead of pants, to wear a nice dress. With that, winter does not feel so cold and dull anymore. Right?

I am proud, especially of my dress. Because it’s not only comfortable and looks beautiful, no, it’s still sustainable, vegan and fair produced.

ThokkThokk is the name of the brand and was founded in 2007 as a one-man show. In a beautiful quarter in Munich, they have grown into an 8-member crew. Something typical of ThokkThokk is certainly its striking minimalist design, which is produced ecologically and fair.

The garments are mainly made in India, but some pieces are produced in China and the Czech Republic as well. They work with partners from big to small and at the same time they support projects that stand up for children and the rights of women.

The eco-fashion label is sustainable, fair and vegan. Their products are made with organic cotton Tencel, recycled plastic or with the miraculous plant Kapok.

Because it is a long dress and the temperatures are not too low, I do not need tights. Just put on some boots and et voila, my look is ready.

What do you think about this fair dress?
